JOB SUMMARY

Shipping, receiving and stocking all freight material arriving or leaving the company. Parts delivery to local Customers and some Maintaining Warehouse organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Deliver and pick up parts from vendors & customer

2. Pick and pull parts for out outgoing parts orders

3. Accept and receive freight from freight companies after inspecting and verifying condition of shipment and noting of any damage to shipment documents.

4. Maintains & creates bin location so that all parts have a respective location according to size and / or product group.

5. Check in and receive all incoming inventory Locate parts in there prospective locations

6. Ensures accuracy of parts inventory by performing cycle and random bin counts.

7. Researches discrepancies on orders and / or invoices  (e.g. overages, shortages, and duplicate, damaged) for the purpose of correcting errors and / or returning damaged / incorrect parts.

8. Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing support to warehouse and sales staff.

9. Maintain work area and surrounding areas for cleanliness, organization, proper supplies required to perform duties.

10. Participates in annual and random physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.

11. Drop sales flyers off at locations when delivering.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.  High school diploma or the equivalent.  Clearly legible handwriting. Experience in shipping : knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills, shipping and receiving rates.  Packaging skills : knowledge of how material should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage.  Excellent organization and communication skills.  Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands : significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling; significant climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and / or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 45% walking, and 45% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and / or illness. Driver / warehouse positions may require lifting up to 50lbs. without assistance. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
