Job description

Position Overview

Enjoy a $18,000 bonus paid out monthly over six months after 30 days of employment, available to candidates with at least two years of cardiac catheterization lab experience.

This role is ideal for a licensed Radiologic Technologist specializing in cardiac catheterization. You will operate fluoroscopy equipment to ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assist cardiologists in scrub technician duties, and manage hemodynamic monitoring and data collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Operate and ensure optimal performance of cardiac catheterization imaging equipment.
  • Assist physicians by capturing proper images and sequences to support diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Coordinate communication flow within the lab, including pages, specimen handling, and housekeeping requests.
  • Perform Monitor Technician duties by acquiring hemodynamic and electrophysiological data through computer sampling.
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and document procedural changes as needed.
  • Support physicians as a scrub technician during coronary arteriography and cardiac interventions.
  • Maintain proficiency across Radiographic Technician, Monitor Technician, and Scrub Technician roles through ongoing education and conference participation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred; recent graduates from Radiology Technology programs within the last two years or licensed Radiation Technologists with five years of recent experience will also be considered.
  • Licenses and Certifications

  • Required : CRT (California Radiologic Technology certificate), CA Fluoroscopy permit, and ARRT certification.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
  • Additional unit-specific certifications may be necessary.
  • All candidates must successfully complete a physical evaluation, drug screening, and background checks prior to employment.
