Overview

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the nursing process and BRN scope of practice.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

A minimum of one year acute care experience.
A valid RN license issued by the State of California.
ACLS, BLS, and Basic EKG certifications.
Basic Dysrhythmia Certification; LA City Fire Safety Training (within 90 days from date of hire).

PREFERRED

Strong ability to interpret EKG rhythms.

Strong knowledge of cardiology pathophysiology and pharmacology with the ability to react quickly and accurately to cardiac events.

Knowledge of the 3 phases of the stress testing cycle.

ICU or telemetry background.

This position is represented by CNA.
