Job Summary Utilizes imaging equipment to conduct radiological diagnostic procedures as needed during orthopedic cases and pain management injections. Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates computer and radiographic equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body, under the supervision of a Physician.
Performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
Prepares and maintains records and files as directed, stores and maintains films according to department policy and procedures.
Maintains and tests equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Attends annual OSHA training programs.
Attends all regular staff meetings as required.
Ability to evaluate imaging results to ensure appropriate diagnostic information is obtained.
Ability to evaluate, synthesize and communicate diagnostic information to the Physician.
Ability to communicate effectively with the patient and health care team.
