Job Title:

• RN Wound Care Pay: $82.50 Per Hour Shift : Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Location : Newport Beach, CA Schedule: Temp to Hire Job Duties: Functions as the clinical resource for patients and staff for ostomy, Continence Disorders, Acute and Chronic Wound and Skin breakdown, and Fistulae.
• Provides direct wound and ostomy care in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provides patient/family teaching and instruction of wound and ostomy management, both pre- and postoperatively.
• Assists the healthcare team in the evaluation of skin and wound products and equipment, along with providing educational programs, in-services, and bedside teaching for the nursing staff.
• Stays up-to-date with skin care practices and shares advances in wound and skin care assessments, evaluations, treatments, and prevention measures.
• Assesses all patients with a pressure injury staged at a 3 or above and sees all patients who have developed a hospital-acquired pressure injury (HAPI) and meets appropriate reporting requirements.
• Assesses overall hospital needs and practices to eliminate HAPIs.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California - Current and in good standing. · Wound and Ostomy Certification Experience : A minimum of four years of clinical experience is required. · Two years of experience in Wound and Ostomy preferred Required Education: Bachelor’s of Nursing (BSN) required Powered by JazzHR
