Job descriptionProvide direct patient care under the guidance of nurses and healthcare providers. Prioritize patient wellness and perspectives. Serve as a mentor for those new to healthcare. Collaborate effectively with specialized ancillary team members. Embrace new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Contribute to ensuring safety and quality at the point of care. Perform direct care tasks such as gathering vital signs, measuring blood glucose, conducting sterile dressing changes, starting peripheral IVs, and measuring intake and output. Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living. Maintain a clean, stocked, and orderly care area. Location : UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, CO
Department : 5 Tower
FTE : PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift : Flex
Pay : $18.40 - $27.60 / hour, based on your relevant experience
Minimum Requirements :
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good standing. Proof of enrollment in (or completion of) Med / Surg 1 (or program equivalent) is required at the time of application.
