Account Manager - Commercial Insurance (Hybrid)
Terrific opportunity with a top-tier Transportation Insurance Broker, part of a global leader in reinsurance. We’re looking for an Account Manager with 1-3+ years of commercial insurance experience to handle insurance processing in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Responsibilities include managing a book of marine business, maintaining client systems, supporting sales teams, assisting with underwriting, and ensuring smooth daily operations. We’re seeking a highly organized individual with strong communication and analytical skills who thrives on providing excellent service. Experience in P&C lines is essential, and familiarity with Marine and Cargo insurance is a plus but not required. Candidates should hold a valid insurance license. Key Responsibilities
Manage client files in the Agency Management System : new setups, endorsements, certificates, audits, billing, and surplus lines documentation.
Manage book of marine / cargo business
Ensure timely response to client and internal inquiries.
Maintain an organized follow-up system to process client requests efficiently.
Handle underwriting documentation for renewals and ensure deadlines are met.
Collaborate with sales and management, providing account updates and identifying new business opportunities.
Build and sustain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
Offer backup support to the service team as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience (Account Manager level).
Property & Casualty license required; Marine insurance experience preferred.
Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
