Full-Time Student Case Manager Hourly : $18.00 - $23.00 DOE
Since 2016, Pawsperity has been helping uplift families from generational poverty through job training in the art of dog grooming. Pawsperity serves some of the community’s most vulnerable members, including individuals often coming from backgrounds of domestic violence, addiction, incarceration, and homelessness
Position Purpose :
The Case Manager will provide comprehensive support and advocacy for students, ensuring they have access to the resources and services necessary for academic success and personal development. This role involves working collaboratively with students, faculty, and community organizations to provide individualized support and facilitate access to services. May carry a caseload of up to 30 students.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Individualized Support : Provide personalized support for students facing academic, emotional, or personal challenges.
- Resource Coordination : Connect students with on-campus and off-campus resources.
- Monitoring Progress : Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting support as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Crisis Intervention : Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
- Advocacy : Serve as an advocate for students within the institution, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Collaboration : Work closely with faculty, staff, and external agencies to create a supportive network for students.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
- Data Analysis : Collect and analyze data related to student outcomes and program effectiveness to inform improvements in services.
