Are you friendly, dependable, and passionate about providing top-notch customer service? McKeever Price Chopper is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cashiers in a dynamic and fast-paced grocery store environment.
Position Overview :
As a cashier, you’ll be the face of McKeever Price Chopper, responsible for creating a welcoming and helpful atmosphere for every customer. From efficiently operating the checkout lane to assisting customers with locating products, you play a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet each customer with eye contact and a sincere "Thank you"
- Provide friendly, helpful, easy, and safe service that meets customer expectations
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in line with company standards
- Operate the register quickly and accurately, handling various forms of payment
- Stay informed on regulations regarding WIC, food stamps, alcohol / tobacco, and lottery (if applicable)
- Promote additional product sales when appropriate
- Keep cashier area and store clean and organized
- Assist customers with bagging and locating items
- Return misplaced products to shelves
- Resolve customer complaints courteously and professionally
