• We are hiring immediately for a CATERING MANAGER position.
• Location : University of San Francisco, 2130 Fulton St, San Francisco, CA 94117. Note : online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full Time; typically Tuesday through Saturday, hours may vary based on catering needs. Flexibility required.
• Details : This is a 7-day-per-week education operation. The Catering Manager will manage multiple events and manage 5 full-time union associates as well as temp staffing. Catering events range from 10 people to 1500. Will run weekly meetings with the USF catering clients.
• Requirement : At least 2 years in a catering manager role. Must have computer skills in Word and Excel. Able to manage multiple events at a time. Great personal communication skills. A valid driver's license required. Being bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Salary Range : $80,000-85,000

Job Summary

Summary : As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Catering Department in all duties including training new associates, overseeing event set-ups, and directing any temporary personnel in addition to their everyday assignments. You will ensure proper service to clients during events, including proper set-up, cleaning, and breakdown procedures.
