A-Gas Americas is looking to hire a full-time Route Driver / Cylinder Exchange Technician, servicing the HVAC and specialty gas industries. Are you courteous and professional? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CYLINDER EXCHANGE TECHNICIAN

As a Cylinder Exchange Technician, you will be responsible for the "Rapid Exchange" program in a specific territory, handling customer and prospect interactions. Your duties will include :

• Operating the A-Gas cylinder exchange program by picking up and dropping off refrigerant gas cylinders at customer locations using a box truck.
• Providing excellent customer service. - Preparing and properly labeling cylinders.
• Operating a pallet jack and lift gate to load and unload shipments.
• Consolidating refrigerants into half-ton cylinders.
• Assisting with the sourcing of gas by looking for additional gas to bring back to the company for reclamation or destruction purposes.
• Keeping accurate reports and submitting daily work orders and weekly expense reports on time.
• Providing care for your assigned vehicle by keeping it in good condition and maintaining it according to the vehicle's manual.
• Working safely and reporting any safety concerns.
• Performing any other job duties as identified.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CYLINDER EXCHANGE TECHNICIAN

Experience in the HVAC industry and familiarity with refrigerant handling and HVAC gas recovery is preferred, although various other factors will be considered.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position that typically works a 40-hour week, Monday - Friday.
