Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Health Educator (RN) to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center (BCBIC) located in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Certified Health Educator is responsible for developing, coordinating and tracking orientation, annual training and competency requirements for healthcare staff based on training and accreditation requirements specified by DPSCS.
Qualifications
- Licensed RN with focus in Education or Master's degree preferred
- Health Education Certification
- Knowledge of nursing in-service education, requirements, methods and procedures
- Minimum of two years of work experience developing and implementing clinical education programs for patients and staff
- Active RN license to practice in Maryland
- Experience working in corrections preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
