Job Description :
Patient Care : Plan and implement recreational therapy programs designed to meet patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
Activity Coordination : Organize and lead individual and group activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, music, and social events.
Assessment and Evaluation : Assess patients' abilities, needs, and interests to develop personalized treatment plans.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaboration : Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
Compliance : Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Education and Certification Requirements :
Certification : Must be a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (C-Cert Thera Rec Spec).
BLS Certification : Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
