Job description
Expectations :
Safely obtains blood samples by venipuncture or capillary collection from clients of all ages. Works to support the general operation of the assigned section / shift. This position may require flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION :
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE / TRAINING :
One-year phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting drawing patients of all ages or active participation and successful completion of a Huntington Health approved phlebotomy internship and training program required.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :
Required :
Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by State of California
SKILLS :
Effective communication.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Excellent customer service.
