We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager (CM)  whois a dedicated sales and support resource for Guide Star's esteemed strategic Channel Partners. This role involves recruiting, onboarding, training, and fostering value-based relationships with these partners. The CM is tasked with achieving incremental sales revenue goals for Guide Star by promoting and selling Guide Star solutions and services through and in collaboration with these Channel Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales and other assigned business target objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand the company’s reach and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Channel Partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for partners, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly, escalating where appropriate.
  • Provide training, resources, and support to Channel Partners to enable and enhance their ability to sell Guide Star’s solutions and services.
  • Track and analyze partner performance metrics. Develop and implement strategies to improve Partner performance to achieve sales targets.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute joint marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and events with Channel Partners.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights into Channel performance, gaps, needs, and market trends.
  • Ensure all channel activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a high-quality Partner and Customer experience.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Channel Sales within the IT Managed Services industry.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of IT Support, Cybersecurity, System and Network Administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft office tools and industry leading CRM tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT managed services, solutions, and technology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and engage in building productive relationships with senior-level executives, colleagues, vendors, and customers in a highly consensus-driven culture.
  • Proficient in leadership with a robust aptitude for analysis and problem-solving, coupled with the ability to influence others effectively.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to self-motivate, manage time, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Understanding of business finance.
  • Leadership with skills to positively influence others, collaborate with teammates, communicate on the level of others, listen, and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace.
  • The ability to embrace corporate values, understand the company vision, and exemplify CCI leadership behaviors.
  • Shift is flexible, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm CST but must be able to work outside normal business hours when required.

    Additional Information

  • Up to 25% travel nationwide is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
