Sous Chef Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the culinary standards that made Mama Ricotta's a beloved brand are maintained and extended to Little Mama's Italian Kitchen.
  • Lead kitchen staff in crafting dishes that reflect the authentic Italian-American flavors our customers expect.
  • Support menu development and execution, ensuring each dish meets our high standards for quality and innovation.
  • Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, learning, and enthusiasm.
  • Manage food ordering, inventory, and kitchen equipment, maintaining operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Uphold and enhance safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Sous Chef Qualifications :

  • Proven culinary experience, particularly in high-volume Italian-American or Italian cuisine settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage kitchen staff effectively.
  • Strong foundation in Italian cooking techniques and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
