About the Opportunity
Gecko Hospitality is proud to represent an upscale, high-volume restaurant in Miami seeking a talented Chef de Cuisine to lead its culinary team. This role is ideal for a passionate, disciplined leader who can balance creativity with flawless execution in one of the country’s most competitive dining markets.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and excellence across menus and service.
- Drive menu innovation, with a focus on seasonality, local sourcing, and refined presentation.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse culinary team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth.
- Manage food cost, labor, and operational budgets, aligning profitability with quality.
- Partner with ownership and FOH leadership to deliver a seamless, elevated guest experience.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
