About the Position
Performs entry level civil engineering work, environmental engineering, and / or scientific related work in the technical evaluation of basic to moderately complex water and reclamation infrastructure and the associated regulatory requirements.
Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate's experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $36.64 / hour or $76,169.60 / annually.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or the Biological Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science) or a related scientific degree.
- Six months' experience in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or scientific analysis in the public or private sectors.
- An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
Licensing, Credentials and Other Requirements
Other pertinent licenses and / or certifications may be required of some positions depending on division / department / section assignment.
