Our client in the electronics / Manufacturing industry is seeking a Gas and Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Technician Gas & Chemical, you will be part of the onsite Project and equipment team supporting the gas and chemical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Job Title : Gas & Chemical Technician
Location : Phoenix, AZ
Duration : 12+ Months contract
What's the Job?
Support and lead the technical demands of the site gas or chemical equipment
Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution
Provide technical support and problem resolution for gas, chemical, and slurry equipment
Support and lead the technical challenges for the distribution equipment of various types and vendors
Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment
What's Needed?
Comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response
Ability to write, edit, and execute operating and maintenance procedures
Commitment to a ZERO safety or quality incident culture
Experience with installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of gas and chemical systems
Capability of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment
