Job Title : Process Engineer
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for processing data compilations and report generation for a petroleum pilot plant. This role involves compiling and building reports for petroleum pilot plant runs, working with operators to generate product blends, and utilizing MS Office to generate reports and design in Autoplant / CAD. The candidate will support projects by executing chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments, building up test equipment, and compiling and reporting test data. Mechanical aptitude is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Compile and build reports for petroleum pilot plant runs.
- Work with operators to generate product blends.
- Utilize MS Office to generate reports and design in Autoplant / CAD.
- Support projects by executing chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments.
- Build up test equipment and compile / report test data.
- Operate and troubleshoot chemical pilot plant equipment.
- Install and maintain equipment, including turnaround procedures.
- Assist with safety procedures and operating instructions.
- Prepare samples and clean up the plant.
- Work with pumps, heat trace, high temperature oils, drum heaters, and chemicals.
- Lead operators on shifts.

Work Environment
This position involves working in both desk and plant / refinery settings. Shift work is required, with shifts depending on projects and advance notice provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00 / hr.
