Chemical Laboratory Technician

We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities :

• Perform experiments following instructions set by the project requestor.
• Make keen observations and be cognizant of opportunities.
• Adjust experimentation and problem solve as needed.
• Must be able to record and organize data.
• Manage multiple projects at once.
• Report results in a coherent and understandable manner.
• Acquire a working knowledge of formulation practices and of application test methods typical for the architectural coatings industries.
• Perform lab activities required to maintain ISO, S, and safety compliance.

Requirements :

Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Education : Bachelor's degree in a chemistry related field and + years practical laboratory experience OR associate's degree in a chemistry related field and + years practical laboratory experience in a chemical related field OR High School Diploma and + years practical laboratory experience in a chemical related field

Location : Charlotte, NC

Pay Rate : The pay range for this position is $ - $ per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Work Schedule : M-F; : AM – : PM

Length of Assignment : Contract to hire
