This pioneering radiopharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing radioligand therapies (RLT) for cancer treatment is actively seeking a Radiopharmaceutical Chemist to join their team. The company specializes in the synthesis and formulation of radiolabeled products to tackle significant challenges in radiopharmaceutical therapy and streamline creating innovative treatments to improve patient outcomes.
This company is headquartered in the United States, with its primary R&D facility in Rochester, MN. This role will report directly to the Director of Radiopharmaceutical Development.
Responsibilities :
Develop and optimize synthetic processes for radiolabeled products, including labeling molecules with therapeutic radioisotopes.
Perform routine analysis (TLC, HPLC, gamma spectroscopy) and collaborate on Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) data packages.
Document experiments, troubleshoot production issues, and support the production team in radiosynthetic processes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, or related field, with 3+ years of experience in radiolabeling pharmaceutical products.
Proficiency in TLC, HPLC, gamma spectroscopy, and analytical data interpretation, with experience in alpha- and beta-emitting radioisotopes preferred.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and occasionally on extended hours or weekends.
