Position Overview
As the CTO, you will lead the technology vision, strategy, and execution for our autonomous vehicle platform. You will oversee all R&D, software engineering, AI / ML, and hardware integration efforts, ensuring that our autonomous systems achieve industry-leading performance in perception, decision-making, and control. The CTO will also drive collaboration with regulatory agencies, industry partners, and internal teams to shape the future of self-driving technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s technology strategy for autonomous vehicle software, AI, and sensor fusion.
- Oversee the development of autonomous driving stacks, including perception, localization, planning, and control.
- Lead AI / ML advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning for autonomous decision-making.
- Direct the development of simulation and digital twin environments for autonomous system validation.
- Guide software and hardware integration, ensuring seamless communication between AI-driven decision-making and embedded automotive systems.
- Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence across engineering, research, and product teams.
- Partner with regulatory bodies and industry groups to ensure compliance with AV safety standards, such as ISO 26262, SAE J3016, and NHTSA guidelines.
- Collaborate with external partners, including automotive OEMs, robotics firms, and cloud computing providers, to accelerate technology deployment.
- Develop strategies for real-world fleet deployment, teleoperations, and data collection pipelines for continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies such as edge computing, 5G connectivity, and V2X (vehicle-to-everything) communication to enhance AV capabilities.
