Position Overview :

The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial operations in the education sector, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while driving financial sustainability and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the institution's mission and long-term goals.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
• Manage accounting, treasury, payroll, and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team and board of directors to support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead risk management initiatives, including financial audits, compliance, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to optimize resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee funding sources, including grants, endowments, tuition revenue, and state / federal funding, ensuring proper utilization and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders.
• Implement and oversee financial technology solutions to enhance reporting, forecasting, and financial management.
