Join to apply for the Chief Information Officer role at Phelps Dunbar LLP
The CIO will collaborate with executive leadership on the Firm's vision for the future. This role will lead the planning and execution of strategic technology solutions for this changing industry, giving the Firm an advantage over its competition. The right person will balance technology needs, add what will actually be used and appropriate for the Firm, and know the right timing to roll out enhancements. This position must focus on making technology available to those who require it most and making it user-friendly and accessible. Learning and understanding the environment will be an important aspect of success. The CIO will manage communications and identify best practices for technical training strategies so that products and tools are actually used and not just available. This position is a balance of strategic and hands-on involvement. The CIO will be responsible for assisting in the leadership of technology while partnering with the Firm's external technology provider and vendors to ensure high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of near- and long-term technology strategy at the Firm, in collaboration with leaders in alignment with the Firm's long-term strategic direction.

- Oversee relevant contract negotiations with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Establish short- and long-term goals and develop strategies to acquire technology to meet the needs.
- Experience partnering with an external technology vendor successfully.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies that can improve the Firm's performance and profits.
