Job descriptionPrepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for manufacturing and construction projects Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to define scope and resource needs Utilize estimating and design tools such as RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel Research and evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs while monitoring market trends Identify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value-engineering options Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support planning and execution Participate in project reviews, vendor evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred 7+ years of experience in project estimation, cost engineering, or related roles Proficiency with RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred ASPE or DBIA certification is a plus Up to 25% travel required Employment contingent upon background check
