Salary : $125,000 - $175,000 per year

Our client is a premier heavy civil contractor with strong capabilities in structures, earthwork and utilities. The majority of their work is in Oregon and Washington with projects ranging from highway, bridge, dam, rail and other commercial and industrial concrete projects. They offer a full line of services from pre-construction to post-construction including budgeting, scheduling, engineering and constructability review, permitting, design-build and more.

Job Details
Responsibilities :
Perform detailed takeoff from plans utilizing HCSS and other estimating tools
Perform constructability reviews
Identifying areas of potential risk and advantage
Solicit supplier and subcontractor quotes
Review and adapt internal historic labor production rate database to predict job man hour needs
Estimate utilizing both lump sum method and unit priced method
Requirements :
3+ years heavy civil project management and or estimating experience
Experience using HCSS Heavy Bid estimating software
Experience bidding on projects such as earthwork, utilities, structural and flat concrete projects
