A booming cancer research biotechnology company is looking for an executive assistant to join their small and growing team! During the training period this role will be temporary (contract) and will switch over to a permanent position after three months.
You will support the CEO and CFO and play a pivotal role in enabling senior leadership to achieve strategic goals by providing high-level administrative support, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and prioritize complex schedules and calendars
Plan travel and off site meetings for company
Prepare agendas for the team
Plan and book domestic and international travel, including accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.
Office operational duties as needed (this role is hybrid)
Plan and coordinate small company events! (Event planning experience is a huge PLUS)
Qualifications
2-4 years of executive support experience
Must come from the biotech, pharma, or medicine industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must work well on a small team
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
