About this Role
The Associate to the Vice President & Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation is responsible for providing senior-level administrative and project management support to ensure the smooth operation of the Investment Office. This pivotal role involves managing the CIO’s priorities and calendar, overseeing the production and quality of reporting materials for the Foundation Investment Committee and board, and leading projects across multiple teams. Key responsibilities include serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders, coordinating both domestic and international travel logistics, and representing the CIO’s office with diplomacy and discretion. The role demands an exceptional ability to draft and edit CIO communications, coordinate meetings, and manage highly confidential and sensitive information. In addition, the Associate will engage in strategic project management, oversee office workflows and information flow, and support department budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
Oversee CIO’s complex calendar, meeting preparation, and priority alignment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for CIO communications and correspondence.
