About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead and oversee all accounting functions. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and innovative individual with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful growth strategies within the banking sector. Responsibilities for this senior leadership role include directing all financial activities, supervising financial staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and guiding the organization's financial area towards growth and expansion. The CFO will also be involved in financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities, as well as in the development of internal control policies and procedures. Candidates for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting (Master's degree preferred), and a CPA designation is also desirable. Extensive experience in a bank with assets of at least $5B is a must, along with a minimum of seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in PC software and excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. The role demands the ability to work well under pressure, set priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve highly complex financial issues. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with a passion for professional development and a strategic, forward-thinking approach to their work.
