Position Summary :
Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing, directing, and implementing Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise (NNGE) overall marketing and strategic planning programs, objectives, and performance measurements to achieve targeted marketing goals and financial objectives. The CMO ensures that all marketing initiatives are executed in compliance with applicable tribal, state, and federal gaming regulations, while also aligning with the company’s values and strategic vision. This role oversees marketing efforts across all NNGE operations, requiring extensive multi-property marketing experience to effectively manage and coordinate campaigns that resonate across diverse markets. Maintains strict confidentiality of privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field plus fifteen (15) years of progressive senior management or Vice President of Marketing experience in multi-property casino marketing. New casino opening and hotel experience preferred. Master’s degree preferred. Tribal gaming experience preferred with multiple property operations. Valid driver’s license required. Must meet all knowledge skills and abilities. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug / alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
