Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. This role requires both strategic vision and tactical execution, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Experience in the consumer goods industry is highly preferred. Must have experience with IPOs.This role will report directly into the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership : Develop and execute financial strategies to support rapid growth, including retail expansion and capital raising.
- FP&A : Lead financial planning, analysis, and forecasting to drive decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital : Manage liquidity and working capital to optimize cash flow performance.
- Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain relationships with the board, private equity partners, lenders, and auditors.
- Financial Operations : Oversee daily bookkeeping, accounting, payroll (Gusto), and benefits administration.
- Risk Management & Compliance : Manage tax planning, compliance, and external audits.
- Cross-Functional Partnership : Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on pricing strategies and with leadership on strategic business decisions.
