Job description

SCHEDULE : SUNDAY MORNINGS 9 : 30am-11 : 30am

We are a vibrant and inclusive Unitarian Universalist Church seeking a caring and energetic Nursery Caregiver to provide a safe and engaging environment for our youngest community members (ages 6 months – 4 years). If you love working with children and would like to support a progressive, justice-minded spiritual community, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do :

  • Supervise and interact with children in a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate manner.
  • Follow congregational safety policies while fostering a playful and caring environment.
  • Use age-appropriate guidance techniques to support children's social and emotional development.
  • Help prepare and clean up the nursery space before and after services.

What We're Looking For :

  • A kind, patient, responsible nature.
  • Experience working with young children (professional or volunteer).
  • Comfort working both indoors and outdoors when weather permits.
  • Willingness to complete a Live Scan background check and Mandated Reporter Training (paid).
  • Ability to align with and support the values of a progressive, liberal religious community.
