The Executive Assistant coordinates and manages the administrative activities of The Ohio State University Hospital (hereafter UH) under the direction of the Administrator and Administrative Directors of the hospital. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate across internal and external organizations while working with staff and management across multiple departments and hospitals. Provides assistance to other senior leaders within UH Administration which requires considerable discretion and judgement as dealing in matters of a highly confidential nature. Oversees office matters relating to facilities and supplies. The UH administrative suite supports the University Hospital senior leadership team that is responsible for leading the operations of the hospital.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Six months experience (600 hours training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; 6 mos. experience (600 hrs course work) in office practices and procedures; 6 months experience (600 hours course work) in customer service. Some positions require one year related medical secretarial experience or completion of an associate's degree program with three courses in medical terminology plus 3 mos. experience (300 hours training) in use of word processing equipment, consistent with position description. Some positions require 6 mos. experience (600 hrs course work) in supervision consistent with position description
