Job Title : Citrix Engineer Location : Hybrid – Vienna, VA

• 2 days onsite / 3 days remote Duration : Long-Term / Ongoing (No End Date) Role Overview The Citrix Engineer will be responsible for researching, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix-based virtual application and desktop solutions. This role provides technical direction and engineering support for enterprise infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and NetScaler technologies within a regulated banking environment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments Provide technical direction and engineering support for Citrix infrastructure and related projects Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of emerging Citrix technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions Administer and optimize Citrix policies, Studio, StoreFront, and Citrix Cloud Support Citrix DaaS, App Layering, Machine Creation Services (MCS) Manage and support FSLogix Profile Containers and Application Masking Design and maintain NetScaler (ADC) configurations, including policies and networking components Troubleshoot complex Citrix and NetScaler performance, availability, and access issues Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, availability, and compliance standards Required Qualifications Significant hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops Strong experience with : Citrix Studio Citrix Policies Citrix DaaS App Layering Machine Creation Services (MCS) FSLogix Profile Containers & Application Masking Strong understanding of Citrix technologies, including : Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp / XenDesktop) NetScaler (ADC) StoreFront Citrix Cloud Significant experience with NetScaler networking and policy configuration Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Certifications (One or More Preferred / Required) Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) CCA – Virtualization (CCA-V) CCA – App Delivery & Security (CCA-AppDS) Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) CCP – Virtualization (CCP-V) CCP – App Delivery & Security (CCP-AppDS) Citrix Certified Expert (CCE) CCE – Virtualization (CCE-V) Role Alignment IT Engineer Specialist Specialized expertise in Citrix virtualization and application delivery technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to support niche, enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions
