Job descriptionBachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Advanced degree preferred 12 years of tunnel experience PE License in one state with willingness to register in other states Advanced knowledge of various tunneling methods / techniques geotechnical aspects and challenging ground conditions Project management experience Leadership experience Familiar with North American tunneling standards / best practices
Full service engineering firm with tradition and reputation that goes back over 40 years looking to add a Lead Civil Engineer with a focus on tunnel projects to their Atlanta office!
Responsibilities :
- Lead tunnel engineering projects (design planning and project execution in the US and Canada)
- Oversee / implement technical solutions for tunnel design and construction
- Provide oversight in business development proposal development and strategic planning
- Build / maintain client relationships
- Adhere to quality safety and timeline standards
- Collaborate with other teams
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Primary contact for clients and team
Requirements :
Salary is commensurate with experience.
