Learn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.

We boldly go.

Where is the work:

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

What's in it for you:

As the Engineering Manager, Data Center Product Engineering, you will serve as the engineering lead for the Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) Pod, with responsibility for leading the engineering activities that support sales order processing and execution for one of our key data center product platforms. This role provides the opportunity to guide the technical direction of the TCDC product, work closely with cross-functional teams, and lead customer-focused engineering execution from bid support through manufacturing release and field feedback integration.

You will play a key role in supporting job bidding, submittal generation, BOM generation, modeling, risk assessment, new and unique design evaluation and qualification, design for manufacturing, and job release to manufacturing. This position offers broad exposure across the full order execution lifecycle and the opportunity to influence product quality, manufacturability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement by incorporating production and field learnings into future designs.

What you will do:

  • Lead all aspects of Product Engineering job support for the Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) Pod.

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers and designers supporting the TCDC Pod, providing clear direction, priority setting, coaching, and day-to-day guidance.

  • Manage team performance and engagement through regular feedback, goal setting, development planning, and ongoing communication.

  • Support talent development through coaching, mentoring, training, and succession planning to build individual capability and overall team effectiveness.

  • Partner with Human Resources and functional leadership on hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and other people-related matters.

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment that promotes engagement, inclusion, continuous improvement, and strong business results.

  • Align team resources and individual assignments to meet business priorities while supporting employee growth and development.

  • Support job processing activities, including bid support, submittals, order release, BOM development, and model generation.

  • Provide technical leadership for production support and field support related to TCDC orders and product applications.

  • Drive new and unique design improvements that enhance product performance, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for year-over-year margin improvement.

  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop accurate drawings, models, documentation, and product configurations.

  • Work cross-functionally with operations, quality, manufacturing, and product management to resolve technical issues and support business objectives.

  • Lead engineering changes for new and existing products, including documentation updates and design standardization efforts.

  • Support problem solving and root cause analysis for design, quality, and reliability issues.

  • Help prioritize and execute larger product enhancement projects that support the order processing pod.

  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed with quality, accuracy, and urgency in a fast-paced environment.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in design engineering is required.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including experience leading a team of engineers, is preferred but not required.

  • Strong technical expertise in product design engineering and product support.

  • Experience leading engineering activities for configured-to-order or engineered-to-order products.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, product documentation, bills of material, and CAD/model-based design processes.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional efforts and influence outcomes across engineering, design, operations, and manufacturing teams.

  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify practical solutions quickly.

  • Experience supporting production, field issues, and continuous product improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive progress across several concurrent assignments.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to guide teams, support change, and drive results.
