About the Internship
Our paid Civil Engineering Internship offers college students an opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day design activities within our Water, Transportation, Land Development, Government Services, Fiber and Construction Practice business lines. Throughout the program, students will enhance their current skills while working in a collaborative environment and learning from subject matter experts within the organization. They will participate in various phases of projects, gaining the experience and knowledge necessary for personal and professional growth
We also believe in the power of mentorship and networking. Interns will be paired with a new hire buddy who provides guidance and support throughout the program. Interns will also have the chance to engage with colleagues across different departments during office events, enhancing their overall experience and integration into our team.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year or graduate engineering program, pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a similar field.
- Basic knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and capability in working with CADD software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, and other engineering automation tools as required.

Compensation : $15-30 / hour
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, California SB 1162, Minnesota Omnibus Labor and Industry Policy Bill Article 7 Section 2, Illinois Salary Transparency amendment to the Equal Pay Act of 2003. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to : individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
