DEA is actively seeking a motivatedCivil Engineering Designerto join our Transit and Rail Group located inTacoma, Salt Lake City, Portland, Denver, Fort Worth, or College Station. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for construction document production, computer aided design, modeling, engineering, design, and project delivery focused on transit and rail projects. From conceptualization to execution, you'll play a vital role in shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow.This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to apply their technical expertise and contribute to the advancement of sustainable transportation solutions. Key Responsibilities :
- Support our Transit and Rail Group with the production of drawings, layouts, maps, corridor and 3D modeling, and graphic representations of engineering designs usingBentley OpenRoads / OpenRail.
- CADD tasks to support the development of railroad terminal, railroad capacity, transit and highway projects.
- Maintain, develop and direct efficient workflows within client specific CADD standards and workspaces.
- Develop concept plans and construction plan sets including site layout, track, grading, drainage, utilities, and roads.
- Create design details, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with other project teams, such as structural, architectural, and geotechnical.
- Prepare quantity and cost estimates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
