Environmental Director / Civil Engineer

Location : Rochester MN (Onsite)

Employment Type : FullTime

About the Role

A civil engineering firm is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with environmental expertise to manage projects in land development transportation and environmental planning . This role includes overseeing environmental assessments preparing regulatory documentation and managing design projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee environmental assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and review environmental documentation including impact statements.
  • Manage projects to ensure completion on time and within budget.
  • Develop engineering designs for roads bridges and utilities.
  • Oversee land development projects including site planning and drainage design.
  • Design and manage transportation projects including traffic analysis and roadway planning.
  • Work with clients stakeholders and teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations .

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on environmental documentation land development and transportation .
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards .
  • Strong project management and communication skills .
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a team.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS .
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one in Minnesota .
