Product Marketing Specialist TaxWise

As a Product Marketing Specialist TaxWise, you will play a key role in driving the growth, adoption, and market success of one of the industry's most trusted tax preparation solutions. TaxWise serves professional tax preparers, small tax firms, and service bureaus with solutions designed to simplify tax preparation, improve efficiency, and help practitioners grow their businesses. TaxWise emphasizes cloud-based tax preparation, AI-powered workflow enhancements, mobile client collaboration, and integrated tax research capabilities.

You will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Digital Marketing, Revenue Enablement, and Demand Generation teams to bring new capabilities to market, drive customer engagement, support renewals and upgrades, and strengthen TaxWise's competitive position.

This role is ideal for a marketing professional who is execution-oriented, customer focused, and passionate about translating product capabilities into compelling value propositions that drive demand, adoption, retention, and revenue growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for TaxWise solutions, translating product features and innovations into compelling customer value propositions for professional tax preparers and small accounting firms.
  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans for TaxWise product launches, feature enhancements, seasonal campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
  • Create and maintain customer-facing content across digital properties, product pages, email campaigns, webinars, and sales channels to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner with Product Management to understand customer needs, market trends, roadmap priorities, and competitive differentiation.
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive research to identify opportunities for growth and inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Help drive adoption of key TaxWise solutions and add-on products, including TaxWise Online, TaxWise Mobile, and integrated research solutions.
  • Develop customer lifecycle marketing programs that support onboarding, product adoption, renewals, upgrades, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Enablement teams to create high-impact sales tools, competitive battlecards, customer presentations, and value messaging.
  • Support demand generation initiatives across paid media, email marketing, webinars, events, content marketing, and partner programs.
  • Create compelling customer success stories, testimonials, use cases, and thought leadership content that demonstrate business outcomes and workflow improvements.
  • Analyze customer insights, campaign performance, adoption metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Support retention and renewal marketing efforts designed to strengthen customer loyalty and reduce churn.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you need:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing, supporting software, SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting product launches, go-to-market initiatives, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong ability to translate product capabilities into clear, compelling customer benefits and business outcomes.
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis, market research, and customer insight gathering.
  • Experience creating customer-facing marketing assets, including web content, email campaigns, presentations, datasheets, case studies, and sales enablement materials.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both business and technical audiences.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Enablement, and Marketing teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging customer insights and performance metrics to optimize marketing outcomes.
  • Experience in tax, accounting, finance, professional services, or adjacent industries is preferred, but not required.
