This opportunity is in the Claims Department.
Our Claims Department oversees both high-exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. As an unbundled carrier, we work actively with third-party administrators (TPAs) and self-administered accounts to assist in guiding claims to a successful resolution. As an excess carrier, the catastrophic claims we handle keep our group challenged, but the uniqueness provides plenty of growth opportunities.
Role Description :
As a Senior Claims Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing complex and high-severity excess workers' compensation claims from start to finish. You will be responsible for making critical decisions regarding coverage, medical management, litigation strategy, and settlement, while ensuring compliance with best practices and internal procedures. This position requires a high level of independence, sound judgment, and leadership, as you'll also assist in mentoring new hires and supporting TPA and LPT audits. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including third-party administrators, defense counsel, underwriting teams, and reinsurance partners, to ensure claims are handled effectively and with integrity. Your role directly impacts the organization's financial performance and reinforces our commitment to service excellence.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
