Job description
A company is looking for a Group Claims Representative to manage life insurance claim investigations and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct eligibility determinations for life claims and manage ongoing claims in compliance with legal guidelines
Respond to customer inquiries regarding life benefits and communicate decisions effectively
Pay covered claims accurately and efficiently while adhering to processing timeframes and customer service protocols
Required Qualifications
Minimum of one year of professional experience preferred
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook) is required
Ability to gather information, analyze facts, and draw conclusions
Knowledge of legal liability, insurance coverage, and medical terminology is a plus
