Service Plumbing Apprentice – Helper / Trainee (Kansas City Metro Area)

18–$20 / hour to start | Pay increases with experience | Full-Time | Weekends Off

Andy’s Pipe Dream is a family-owned and operated plumbing service firm, proudly serving the Kansas City metro area since 2003. We value a strong work–family balance and are committed to creating a supportive, team-centered workplace.

What We Offer

18–$20 / hour starting pay
Pay raises as you gain experience
Monday–Friday schedule — weekends off
Medical, dental, and vision after 90 days ( 75% employer-paid for employee; family coverage available at additional cost )
Paid holidays
Paid time off after 1 year of service
Hands-on training with career growth opportunities

Key Responsibilities

Learn to assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems

Train to troubleshoot and repair faucets, toilets, and plumbing appliances

Study blueprints and building codes to guide your work

Assist in preparing basic cost estimates for clients

Follow safety procedures and company standards

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma (required)

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Willing to complete drug test and background check

Physically able to handle plumbing tasks

Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills

Comfortable using iPads, iPhones, and mobile apps (we provide training)
