Job Title : Electrical Fabrication Modeler / Designer

Location : Austin, TX (Remote until full-time conversion; relocation required with bonus offered)

Job Type : Contract-to-Hire

About the Opportunity :

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Fabrication Modeler / Designer (Revit Modeler) for a contract-to-hire role based in Austin, TX. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely until conversion to a full-time employee, after which relocation to Austin will be required (relocation bonus provided). This is a W2 opportunity; C2C arrangements will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, draft, and develop fabrication-level 3D models for electrical systems using Revit, including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and telecommunications systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure 3D coordination across various disciplines.
Develop fully detailed LOD400 models that are clash-free.
Conduct Navisworks flythroughs during coordination meetings with stakeholders.
Interface with construction trades and perform regular field walks to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with fabrication models.

Qualifications :

Advanced proficiency in Revit Electrical modeling.

Strong knowledge of electrical system components, conduit types, fittings, and related materials.

A strong desire to contribute to a world-class team committed to excellence.

Experience designing electrical systems for industrial projects.

Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, and Revizto is preferred.
