This is an entry position into the audio visual field. The position affords the canditate the opportunity to learn about AV integration Project management, and the different jobs in that field. The team member will be in manage the stockroom and control inventory items as they are received and made ready of jobs.
The job requires that the team member to :
Receive shipments.
Test items as they are received and allocate them to their proper jobs
Track jobs and report shortages and issues
Be responsible for loading out our trucks for installations.
Keep vehicle records / maintenance and inventory.
Occaisonally use company vehicle to deliver or pick items.
Keep staging and stockroom areas clean and neat.
Work well in a team environment.
Communicates clearly and effectively.
Requirements :
The successful candidate must possess the physical strength necessary to unload, lift, and carry heavy boxes as well as the ability of creating reports, and tracking inventory as it moves through the process.
Experience : relevant : 1 year (Preferred)
Education : High school or equivalent (Some college preferred)
Additional Requirements
Excellent Communications skills with both Customers and Staff
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
Able to efficiently and effectively complete all work as directed
Clean driving record
Able to pass a simple back ground check and drug test
High School Diploma or Equivalent - Some college preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Able to safely lift equipment weighing as much as 80 lbs. regularly.
Able to work comfortably on ladder
Possess some technical skills in dealing with computers and Audio Visual equipment.
