The Financial Advisor & Planner – Brokerage / Premier, assists Empower's Personal Wealth investment clients with a wide range of financial matters. This role acts as the quarterback & primary point of contact for a book of existing IRA and Brokerage clients (Individual AUM $100k to >
1M). The book is comprised primarily of clients acquired through Empower’s mergers and acquisition growth strategy.
This position utilizes a consultative approach to proactively drive financial planning and guidance, identify and react to client needs, and effectively communicate Empower’s value proposition.
Performance in this role is measured in a variety of ways, including proactive client outreach, AUM retention and growth, client satisfaction, and utilization of Empower solutions. Significant emphasis is placed on successful transitioning of the client from sunsetting products and services to the full Empower experience.
What you will do
- The ideal candidate will provide an extremely high level of service to our Empower Personal Wealth clients, retaining assets under management and garnering additional assets through diligent communication, proactive education, and unfailing responsiveness.
- Provide a seamless experience for newly acquired clients transitioning to Empower.
- Comprehensive relationship management via phone conversations, and email communication. Client interaction is both proactive and reactive.
- Act as liaison between clients & various internal groups / departments within Empower Personal Wealth to serve clients.
- An ability to clearly discuss portfolio, market, and economic discussions.
- Provide clients with holistic financial planning on a large variety of subjects, including areas such as retirement planning, savings strategies, and education planning. This role will also partner with financial planning specialists on complex wealth management issues or comprehensive financial plans as needed.
- Potentially take on ancillary duties such as assisting in the training and mentorship of new Financial Advisor hires.

Base Salary Range
57,300.00 - $81,000.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
