General Description

Provide support to small business unit Client Managers and Client Advisors, primarily handling a high volume of micro accounts generating less than $7,500 in commissions.

Obtains renewals from General Agent and / or Carrier.

Prepares pre-renewal / renewal letters for delivery to clients.

Prepares compensation disclosure notices, where applicable

Maintain accurate client and team information and documentation in agency management systems.

May assist with enrollment and billing issues, as needed.

May respond to questions related to small group health insurance certification to verify eligibility for health insurance plans.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Prior customer service experience and insurance industry knowledge preferred, but not required.

High School Graduate, 4-year college degree preferred.

BenefitPoint knowledge a plus but not required.

Must currently hold or be willing to earn life and disability insurance license.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.

Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.

Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.

Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.

Ability to carry out multiple tasks with both concrete and abstract variables.

Establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.

Comfortable with internet-based programs as well as knowledge of Microsoft office products.

This position is open to hybrid flexibility for local candidates.
