Job description

Manager Education Partnerships
Role-Based Mission:
In this role, you will lead growth and partnership development across a defined territory. You will build trusted relationships with district leaders, understand their priorities and challenges, and identify opportunities for meaningful partnership. Working closely with regional, clinical, operational, and service-line teams, you will connect districts with customized solutions across workforce staffing, behavioral and mental health services, professional development, and programmatic support. You will be accountable for developing new opportunities, advancing them through the partnership process, and building lasting district relationships that drive sustainable revenue growth.
Outcome Measures:
• New District Relationships: Managers are accountable for growing new district relationships across their territory. Progress is tracked via CRM logging and reviewed quarterly.
• Revenue Targets: Each Manager is accountable for their territory's revenue target. Progress is monitored via a monthly territory performance report and formally reviewed quarterly.
• Cross-Selling: Managers are expected to drive cross-sell opportunities across service lines; workforce solutions, behavioral and mental health services, professional development, and programmatic support, across their account base. Tracked via CRM opportunity tagging and reviewed quarterly.
• Collaboration: Managers are expected to actively collaborate with internal teams on proposal development and account strategy. Tracked via CRM notes and cross-functional meeting participation, reviewed quarterly.
Role-Based Competencies:
• Curious by Nature: Asks smart questions and listens closely to understand what districts, educators, and students truly need.
• Opportunity Creator: Proactively opens doors, builds connections, and turns conversations into meaningful district partnerships.
• Compelling Communicator: Communicates with confidence and warmth and knows when to listen vs present.
• Driven to Make an Impact: Brings energy, determination, and a healthy competitive spirit to achieving ambitious goals.
• Master of Follow-Through: Keeps relationships, opportunities, and next steps moving. If they say they'll do it, it gets done.
• Education Insider: Understands the K–12 landscape and uses that knowledge to develop solutions that fit.
• Trusted Collaborator: Builds genuine relationships and brings the right people together to solve district challenges.
Cultural Competencies:
Successful teammates at SSG live the following cultural competencies
• Fast paced and data driven. We treat speed as a competitive advantage. We use data, but we don't get stuck in it. We make decisions and move on to the next obstacle.
• Persistence. We demonstrate tenacity and are willing to go the distance to finish the job.
• Follow-through on commitments. We live up to verbal and written agreements, always.
• Enthusiasm. We exhibit passion and excitement for our work. We maintain a “can-do” attitude.
• Flexibility/adaptability. We adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions. We cope effectively with complexity and change.
• Teamwork & customer service. We like working together. We reach out to peers and cooperate with supervisors to establish collaborative working relationships. We do our work with a focus on customer service, recognizing that “customers” includes our clients and their families, our frontline team members and candidates, and our community partners.
Responsibilities:
• Own a defined territory and drive progress toward individual and territory goals.
• Serve as a key partner to territory and regional teams, building strong alignment across education partnerships, clinical, operations, staffing, and leadership to advance opportunities and support territory success.
• Develop and maintain relationships with school district leaders, administrators, and decision-makers.
• Lead consultative sales processes and solution discussions with prospective clients across workforce, behavioral and mental health, professional development, and programmatic solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop strategic proposals, coordinate service recommendations, and ensure solutions reflect district needs and operational capabilities.
• Own individual revenue targets, contribute to broader territory and regional goals, and maintain accurate CRM reporting.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working in or closely partnering with K-12 schools, with an interest in special education and behavioral support services.
• Experience in consultative sales, educational partnerships, program development, or solution-based business development preferred.
• Proven ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with district administrators and other stakeholders.
• Self-directed and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and active-listening skills; proficiency with CRM systems preferred.
