Essential Functions: The Medical Assistant provides both clinical and non-clinical support to the physicians and mid-level providers. Assists physicians, providers and licensed staff in the management of patient flow and the environment of care, phone messaging, scheduling authorization of procedures, surgeries, deliveries and other duties that fall within the scope of non-licensed staff.
Job Qualifications:
Education- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent OR 2 years of work experience.
Certifications/licenses- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
