Responsibilities : Position Summary :

The incumbent will provide specialized nursing care for patients with cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on assessing, educating, and supporting patients in the management of surgical and chronic cardiovascular conditions. The nurse will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure effective treatment plans and high-quality care.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications :

• Strong written, oral communication, as well as effective problem solving and negotiation skills
• Resourcefulness to identify and search for information that is not readily available and ability to synthesize to form recommendations
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Experience in electrophysiology - arrhythmia identification and management
• Experience coordinating care for patients with complicated medical diagnosis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Current California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Computer familiarity using Word, Outlook and Excel, or similar database software
• All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Ability to design and implement patient and family education programs
